Veritas School of Business & Technology (VSBT) is preparing an application for registration with the Office for Students (OfS) in the Approved category. VSBT is not currently registered with the OfS.
Submission of an application does not guarantee registration or the timing of any OfS decision. Students will only be able to access student support if VSBT becomes registered with the OfS and the relevant course and student meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
VSBT operates an inclusive and fair admissions policy aligned with Pearson BTEC Higher National standards, welcoming both traditional school leavers and experienced mature applicants.
Designed for applicants holding Level 3 UK qualifications or certified European/international equivalents.
A flexible entry pathway recognizing extensive professional background and demonstrable workplace learning.
Ensuring all enrolled students can actively engage in higher education delivery and academic assessment.
Our admissions journey is structured to be clear, supportive, and objective from initial inquiry to enrolment.
Choose between our Pearson qualifications: HND in Business or HND in Hospitality Management. Complete the online enquiry form or submit an official application directly to admissions@vsbt.co.uk.
Our Admissions Office verifies your academic certificates, ID, proof of right to study, and address history within 2 to 3 working days of submission, advising promptly on any missing items.
Shortlisted candidates attend an academic interview with a programme leader (in-person at Maidstone or via video link) to evaluate course compatibility, motivation, study skills readiness, and English communication.
The Admissions Committee reviews the interview report and evidence pack, issuing a formal written decision letter (Unconditional Offer, Conditional Offer, or Feedback) within 5 working days.
Successful applicants confirm acceptance by returning their signed Student Agreement and Terms & Conditions, formally securing their registered cohort place.
Enrolled students receive their induction timetable, virtual learning environment (VLE) credentials, student handbook, and academic calendar ahead of day one on campus.
All applicants must provide verified evidence prior to final offer confirmation. Incomplete documentation may delay decision issuance.
VSBT inspects original identification documents during on-campus enrolment or requires certified digital scans. Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by a recognized UK ENIC Statement of Comparability.
Valid Passport, UK Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), or full UK Driving Licence with Birth Certificate confirming legal residency and right to study.
Recent utility bill (gas, electricity, water), bank statement, or council tax demand notice dated within the last 3 calendar months.
Original certificates for Level 3 qualifications, GCSE English & Maths result slips, or certified transcripts with certified English translations where applicable.
A 300–500 word statement demonstrating course motivation, personal goals, plus an updated CV and employer references for mature applicants.
Every application is thoroughly assessed on its individual academic and professional merits by our Admissions Committee.
Issued when an applicant has met all academic criteria, language standards, identity verifications, and interview assessments. The place is guaranteed upon acceptance.
Place reserved subject to satisfying specific outstanding criteria prior to registration (e.g. pending exam results, English diagnostic completion, or employer reference).
If an applicant does not meet standard Level 4 criteria, our team may recommend foundational study skills workshops or diagnostic pathway preparation.
Where entry standards are not met. Full written feedback is provided within 10 working days upon written request, with guidance on future re-application.
VSBT is committed to delivering fair, consistent, and evidence-based admissions determinations. We uphold a clear right of appeal and transparent complaints resolution process.
An appeal may be lodged on the following valid grounds:
Note: Disagreement with academic judgement alone does not constitute valid grounds for an appeal.
Applicants must contact the Admissions Office (admissions@vsbt.co.uk) within 10 working days of receiving their decision notice. An Admissions Officer conducts an informal review and provides written feedback explaining the determination.
If the matter cannot be resolved informally, a formal written Admissions Appeal must be submitted to the Academic Registrar within 14 calendar days of receiving Stage 1 feedback, detailing the grounds and enclosing supporting documentation. The Registrar reviews the case independently and responds within 10 working days.
If the applicant demonstrates that Stage 2 was procedurally flawed, an escalation may be submitted within 10 working days to the Principal & Academic Quality Committee. The Committee investigates and issues a final institutional decision within 20 working days.
Our dedicated admissions advisors are available to guide you through qualification verification, personal statements, and interview scheduling.
